I remember first renting this game back on the N64 and was taken by the bright colourful graphics, charming characters and the neat depiction of feudal Japan.


Just recently I discovered there was another 3D Goemon game which was released early in the ps2's lifecycle: Bouken Jidai Katsugeki

Judging from screenshots it also seems to capture the look of the original N64 game. There is apparently no english translation for this title, but if anyone can vouch if this game is just as fun that would be most informative.
Would anyone recommend any other game of series that is similar to the aesthetic style of this series in 3D?
